Privacy Policy

This page explains what mparivaahan.com collects, what it doesn’t, and how the small amount of data that does pass through the site is handled.

What we don’t collect

We don’t ask for your Aadhaar number, OTP, MPIN, card CVV, UPI PIN, password, driving licence number, or vehicle registration number. None of those are needed to read this site, and we have no form anywhere that requests them. If you see one on a page claiming to be us, it isn’t us — leave that page.

What we do collect

Two things, and only two:

1. Information you send us through the contact form or by email. When you write to us about an error, a broken link, or a question, we receive your name (if you provide it), your email address, and the message itself. We use this only to reply to you. We do not share it, sell it, or add you to any mailing list.

2. Standard website analytics. Like most websites, we use Google Analytics to understand how many people visit, which pages get read, and roughly where visitors come from (country and city level). Analytics records anonymous data such as your browser type, device type, approximate location, and the pages you view on the site. It does not identify you personally. You can opt out by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on or by using your browser’s “Do Not Track” setting.

Cookies

The site uses small browser cookies for basic functions — remembering your language preference, keeping the site running smoothly, and supporting the analytics described above. You can clear or block cookies at any time through your browser settings. Blocking them won’t prevent you from using the site.

Advertising (future)

We don’t currently display ads on this site. We may, in the future, apply to Google AdSense or a similar advertising network. If we do, those networks may use cookies to show ads relevant to your interests based on your past visits to this and other sites. When that happens, we’ll update this page to reflect it and you’ll be able to opt out through Google’s Ads Settings or by visiting aboutads.info/choices.

Third-party links

This site links out to government portals (parivahan.gov.in and related), the Google Play Store, the Apple App Store, and a few authorised partner sites for services like HSRP and used-car verification. Once you click a link and leave this site, you’re under that site’s privacy policy, not ours. We have no control over what those sites collect.

Children

This site is for general information about Indian transport services and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any data from children.

Your rights

If you’ve written to us through the contact form and want your message and email deleted from our records, send a request to the same contact page and we’ll delete it within 30 days.

Updates

If anything on this page changes — for example, when we add ads in future — we’ll update this page and change the date below. Significant changes will be noted at the top.
